It was a productive and encouraging Friday for the BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 team, marked by consistent progress and focused development work. Tony Arbolino, who posted an impressive third-fastest time during the morning session on a track still partially damp from overnight rain, ended the day in 10th place with a best lap of 1’35.401. Izan Guevara confirmed his morning pace, holding onto 14th position – the final spot granting direct Q2 access – with a time of 1’35.545 set early in the session, which he was unable to improve upon in the closing minutes due to many yellow flags.

On a circuit that both riders enjoy, and finally free from the chattering issues that hampered their performance in Qatar and Spain, Arbolino and Guevara quickly found a strong rhythm on the track named after Ettore Bugatti. Notably, Guevara showed no signs of discomfort despite being required to undergo a medical check on Thursday, following a crash in Jerez two weeks ago that left his left foot less than 100%.
