"We weren’t as fast as we would have liked, but it’s equally true that with both riders we’re showing to be much more competitive than in the past few races. So, at the end of the day I prefer to see the glass half full. Especially considering that it might rain tomorrow — and we all remember what happened on the wet asphalt in Austin a few weeks ago. But even in dry conditions, Tony in particular has a very, very strong pace with great potential, while Izan was held back by a small front-end issue that tended to tuck under, which prevented him from pushing to the limit. But it’s something his technicians can definitely fix ahead of the race."
