The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team faced a difficult outing in today's Grand Prix of the Netherlands Sprint. Álex Rins spent the 13-lap dash battling with various riders and ultimately took 15th place. Fabio Quartararo was fighting for third place when, with four laps to go, he suffered an unexpected crash in Turn 10, ending his run.

Rins battled through a busy mid-pack after starting 19th, gaining four positions on the opening lap. But after engaging in battle with Enea Bastianini, he was moved to 16th, before dropping to 19th on lap 4. He quickly regrouped, however, passing Aleix Espargaró, Ai Ogura, and a few laps later Lorenzo Savadori. With his teammate out, Rins settled into 15th. He held the position to the flag, finishing 15.990s from the winner.

Quartararo took his 4th pole of 2025 – his 20th with Yamaha – and grabbed the holeshot in the Sprint, fending off Marc Marquez. He led the opening lap until a wobble at the final chicane lost him some momentum, allowing the Marquez brothers through. El Diablo tried to stay with them, but he also had to ward off approaching riders. Holding fourth and fighting for a podium spot, his charge ended four laps from the finish in an unlucky crash in Turn 10. Unhurt, he's already focused on tomorrow's Race.

Today's results keep Quartararo in 10th place in the overall standings with 61 points. Rins is in joint-17th position with 32 points. Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP are 7th in the team championship with 93 points, and Yamaha is in 5th position in the constructor championship with 92 points.

On the Dutch GP Sunday, the teammates will start the track action with the Warm Up held from 09:40-09:50 (GMT+2), followed by the 26-lap Race starting at 14:00.
