If we compare his lap times to last year, he improved by over a second. He was consistent and quick all day — so the performance is definitely there, thanks in part to Yamaha’s progress. As for Miguel, something odd happened during FP2 that we had to analyze. Based on his pace this morning, he definitely looked capable of targeting direct Q2 access.”
