After a German Grand Prix that yielded far less than what was sown, the BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 team now faces the Brno test — one of the most beautiful circuits in the World Championship, making its return to the calendar after a four-year absence. Izan Guevara and Tony Arbolino arrive in the Czech Republic bolstered by two days of testing between the Dutch and German GPs, during which they focused heavily on race preparation.

For Izan, who will race at Brno for the first time in his career, the goal is to improve on his 8th place finish at Sachsenring. Tony, on the other hand, is determined to erase the disappointment of Germany, where he crashed out on lap 6 while holding second — having even led the race briefly. Unlike Guevara, Arbolino has four previous starts at the Czech GP, with a 3rd place in 2019 in Moto3 as his best result.

As the Moto2 Championship kicks off its second half with race 12 of 22, Guevara sits 15th in the overall standings with 45 points, while Arbolino is 17th with 34. In the team standings, BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha is 10th with 79 points.
