With the summer break behind them, the BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha squad heads to Austria recharged and ready to restart their Moto2 campaign. Riders Izan Guevara and Tony Arbolino have used the three-week pause to rest and train physically, aiming to be at their best for the challenges ahead. After a tough opening to their inaugural season, the goal for Team Manager Alex De Angelis, the two riders, and the entire crew is to start solidifying the progress seen in the last few races.
The Red Bull Ring is a track that suits Tony well — he claimed two second-place finishes there in Moto3 (2019 and 2020) and has been a consistent contender in Moto2 with sixth and fifth-place finishes in the past two years. Izan’s best result at the Austrian track came with a 7th place in Moto3 in 2022. However, his recent form shows clear and steady growth, as he has often battled within the lead group in recent rounds. Expectations are high for him to be among the contenders for a podium finish this weekend.
With 12 rounds completed, Guevara is in 15th place in the standings with 55 points, while Tony Arbolino is 17th with 34 points. The BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha team holds 10th place in the Team Championship with 89 points.
