Fabio's start mirrored the Sprint, and he did a commendable job defending fourth place for as long as possible, but ultimately the tyre drop and subsequent drop in pace was too significant to overcome with defensive riding alone. We entered the race aiming for more than eighth, so we're not satisfied. We are performing well on Saturdays, but we are still searching for consistency in the races. Álex's didn't have a 'day to forget', as there are lessons to take forward, but it's not a day to dwell on either. As a team we need to move onwards and upwards. Tomorrow, we return to this circuit.
