The race showcased Alcoba's resilience and strategic racing skills. He started the race strongly, quickly gaining momentum and moving up to 11th position by the end of the first lap. Maintaining a consistent pace, Alcoba continued to push forward. By lap 8, he made a decisive move, overtaking Arenas with his best lap time of the race at 2'08.787. Not stopping there, he continued his charge and on lap 11, successfully passed Canet, further improving his position.

While leading Ogura on the 15th lap in P7, Alcoba was overtaken by the Japanese rider in the last lap of the race. His pace remained constant throughout the race, and achieving a solid top 10 finish was the target for the weekend, a goal that was brilliantly accomplished with a strong P8.

With his best result of the year so far, earning him 8 points, Jeremy is now 12th in the World Championship standings. The Yamaha VR46 Master Camp team has also climbed to 8th place in the team's classification.

The MotoGP circus will return from the Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto in two weeks' time, from April 26th to 28th.
