The second Grand Prix of the 2025 season sees the Moto2 riders arriving in Termas de Río Hondo. The first day of track action began under uncertain weather conditions following a rainy early morning. Despite the mixed track conditions, the BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 team displayed both consistency and speed.

Past results clearly highlight how competitive Tony Arbolino can be at this circuit. The Italian spent all of Free Practice 1 (FP1) among the top positions, finishing the session in 2nd place. On the other side of the garage, Izan Guevara had a steady morning, gathering crucial data to improve his feeling with the bike and ending FP1 in 13th position.

The afternoon practice session was crucial for further understanding the track conditions. Both riders tested different settings to enhance their feeling on the bike. Arbolino concluded the session with the 7th fastest lap time, while Guevara faced more challenges, finishing in 16th position. A red flag, due to a crash of a rider who got out without injuries, interrupted the afternoon session early, leaving a few questions for the team. Saturday morning will be essential to find the answers needed to continue the improvement.
