Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. and VR46 are back together on their original colours for the 2024 season. The team’s third year competing in the Moto2 World Champion has begun in Portimão, for a two days of private test under an unstable rainy weather. The team will show its new line-up at the Official Winter test in Jerez de la Frontera, starting from Wednesday the 28th, and  just one week before the first GP race, that will be held the weekend of the 8th-10th of March in Qatar.

The squad is proud to show the Yamaha name and to promote again the Master Camp event, as a liaison between Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. and VR46.
The refreshed colour scheme, with the iconic Yamaha Blue and the VR46 unique Yellow Fluo, gives an extra boost to the team‘s intent to shine brightly on the race tracks again in the upcoming season.

Yamaha and VR46‘s collaborative team, which made their debut in the Moto2 class in 2022, is fully funded by Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., while VR46 is in charge of the management of the team. The equipe can also count on the support of Yamaha Motor Europe N.V..

In 2024, the Moto2 rookie and vice 2023 Moto3 World Champion Ayumu Sasaki, completes the team line up with the Moto2 expert Jeremy Alcoba.
With these two talented and skilled riders in its garage, the Yamaha VR46 Master Camp team is excited to commence the new season.

It won’t be possible without the collaboration of the Official Sponsors and Partners, that will walk along the team throughout the 2024 season:
