Alberto Ferrández is one of Spain’s most promising young talents, hailing from Alicante. The 18-year-old began riding at the age of six after his father introduced him to the world of motorcycles, sharing a passion that quickly turned into a career. From minibikes to international championships, Ferrández has shown remarkable determination and skill, achieving podiums and victories across multiple categories.
Ferrández credits his father as a key influence in his development. His parents and brother continue to cheer him on even now, and their support was vital to getting to where he is today
In 2022, Ferrández said he learned to continue working and not to get frustrated when something does not go as expected, because sometimes there are many factors that influence things. It was a valuable lesson, and his diligent work paid off.
Ferrández's career is packed with achievements. In 2022, he secured his first podium in the FIM JuniorGP Moto3 at Cheste, just weeks after debuting in the category. He also impressed in the European Talent Cup and Italian CIV championships with multiple wins and podium finishes. His adaptability and skill have been evident since his early days, from dominating MiniGP and Moto5 championships to competing at the highest CIV and CEV junior levels.
In 2014, Ferrández had a breakthrough, securing 2 FIM JuniorGP Moto2 poles, 5 podiums, including 2 wins. He followed this up with five more podiums, including 3 wins, in the same class in 2025 and was a contender for the title down to the wire – the final round in Valencia – to ultimately finish the season in third place. Moreover, Ferrández made his Moto2 debut as a wildcard at the San Marino GP, finishing 22nd – a glimpse of what’s to come as he prepares for a full-time move to Moto2 in 2026 when he will join the BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team in the FIM Moto2 World Championship.
